Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex

Located in Bawshar, part of the capital Muscat, Oman, the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex is a multi-purpose facility named after Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said. With a capacity of 34,000, the stadium is the largest in Oman and is home to the national football team as well as a number of local clubs. Opened in 1985, the complex has become the central venue for Gulf Cup matches and other sporting events, as well as city and national holidays.
